Membership
A Fellowship of Bishops
GCEB is designed primarily for bishops.
Membership is intended for bishops who desire to participate in a global peer-to-peer environment focused on humanitarian issues, strategic dialogue, and collaboration.
GCEB is not designed around a broad membership of general ecclesiastical leaders.
The bishop is the primary participant.
Who May Participate?
Bishops Serving Within
- Independent churches
- Denominations
- Communions
- Fellowships
- Episcopal jurisdictions
- Apostolic bodies
- Christian ecclesial organizations

Peer-to-Peer Principle
Every Bishop Brings a Perspective.
GCEB seeks to create a professional environment where participating bishops can speak openly and respectfully with one another.
The Conference is not designed around competition for ecclesial prominence.
It is designed around the value of experience.
A bishop serving in a major metropolitan area may see an issue differently from a bishop serving in a rural community.
A bishop in Africa may encounter circumstances unfamiliar to a bishop in North America.
A bishop in the Caribbean may have insights unavailable to a bishop in Europe.
GCEB brings those perspectives to the same table.
